A person was taken to Lister Hospital for treatment after an incident in Stevenage this morning.
At around 9am today (Monday, April 17), Herts police and the East of England Ambulance Service were called to the incident on Mendip Way in Stevenage.
Emergency services closed the road in both directions, and a person was taken by road ambulance to the hospital. The road was re-opened at around 10.30am.
A spokesperson for Herts police said: "Police were called just after 9am today (Monday 17 April) to a report that a man was suffering from a medical episode near Fairfield Crescent, Stevenage.
"Officers attended to assist the ambulance service at the scene, and road closures were put in place.
"A man was taken to hospital for further treatment. All roads were reopened by 10.30am."
A spokesperson from the East of England Ambulance Service said: "Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Mendip Way, Stevenage this morning following reports of a person with a medical emergency.
"One patient was transported by road ambulance to Lister Hospital for further assessment and care."
