Planning applications have been submitted for a new Greek restaurant to open in Stevenage town centre.

According to documents submitted to Stevenage Borough Council, the planned restaurant would be called 'Pitta Hub' and located on Queensway, next to Noodle Stop.

The owners of the proposed restaurant have submitted planning applications for the installation of a new shopfront and for the erection of an illuminated sign.

Drawings submitted as part of the applications suggest that the restaurant would include several tables as well as counter seating.

The application notes that the restaurant will have four full-time employees and six part-time employees.

Members of the public can make comments on the application for a new shopfront by visiting the council's website and quoting reference number 23/00311/FP.
