North East Herts MP Sir Oliver Heald officially opened the new premises of CSD Automation in Letchworth, as the business expands.

CSD, which provides bespoke process equipment, is now based at Unit 26 Campus Five in the business park.

The company hosted a business breakfast recently with the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the move.

A spokeswoman for CSD said: "We had a fantastic time and would like to thank everyone who attended; it was incredible to see so many representatives from brilliant businesses, all from our local area.

"We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce who did such a wonderful job of organising."

The new premises have been refurbished to provide office space for the in-house design and projects team, and a manufacturing facility for the specialist assembly and installation team.

The spokeswoman continued: "As CSD has expanded over the last two years, we have required a new, larger space to accommodate our growing team as well as provide the much needed space for our projects in progress.

"From the new facility we will continue to design and build our high quality, bespoke process equipment and bespoke industrial manipulators."
