Two swords were found by police officers in Bedwell Park in Stevenage on Tuesday, as part of a week of action around knife crime.
Officers have been carrying out knife sweeps in parks and open spaces across Stevenage to look for weapons which may be concealed in the undergrowth, in the ground or in bin stores.
Until Sunday, knives can be surrendered at Stevenage Police Station, as there is an amnesty as part of the national knife crime initiative Operation Sceptre.

Inspector Emma Bilsdon, who is leading on the operational activity for Operation Sceptre, said: "Knife crime remains low in the county, but the Op Sceptre weeks of action are part of our continuing strategy to tackle violent crime.
"They are a great opportunity to reduce the number of knives in circulation and raise awareness of issues around carrying knives, in particular that carrying a knife in public is illegal and could result in arrest."
