The BBC's hit TV series DIY SOS: The Big Build is looking for people in Hertfordshire who would like to be featured in an upcoming programme.

The long-running series, presented by Nick Knowles, gives families the opportunity to receive a paid-for home renovation with assistance from their local community.

This time around, however, the programme is looking to help people who run community cafés and projects that benefit their areas.

The DIY SOS team want to find people based in North West London, Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, and the surrounding areas who may be interested in receiving help from the programme.

A post on the official DIY SOS Facebook page said: "The team at DIY SOS are on the lookout for their next project! Do you run a community café or project which benefits people in your area?

"Are you a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) or Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO)?

"Are you based within the North West London, Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire and surrounding area?

"If all of the above applies to you, we'd love to hear from you! Please get in touch ASAP at: diysos.bigbuild@bbc.co.uk."
