As the late May bank holiday is set to give residents a long weekend, many will experience some changes in their bin collection dates.
Stevenage Borough Council and North Herts Council have published their late May collection schedule to inform residents of the changes.
All collections will take place a day later due to the bank holiday on Monday, May 29.
Between Monday, May 29, and Saturday, June 3, the bin collections have been amended as follows:
Normal Collection Days - Amended Collection Days
Monday, May 29 - Tuesday, May 30
Tuesday, May 30 - Wednesday, May 31
Wednesday, May 31 - Thursday, June 1
Thursday, June 1 - Friday, June 2
Friday, June 2 - Saturday, June 3
Normal service will resume on Monday, June 5.
A spokeperson for Stevenage Borough Council said: "Remember to put your bins or boxes out by 7am on the day of your collection or the night before."
