Armed police and a police helicopter were deployed in Letchworth today (Monday, July 10).
Herts police were called at around 3.05pm with reports that a man was possibly in possession of a firearm on Broughton Hill.
They deployed armed police and the police helicopter, and the area was searched.
No weapon or suspect was found, and there were no reports of any injuries in connection with the incident.
