Unicorn Ceilidhs are presenting dance band Chalktown, with Sheena Masson calling the dances, for their upcoming gathering this week.

The event will take place on Friday, November 10 at St Mary's Church Hall in Church Street, Baldock.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start, and the evening finishes at 11pm.

Tickets cost £13 for adults, with concessions and children's tickets available, and can be bought at www.unicornceilidhs.org.uk.

Chalktown combine English folk with indie rock and a twist of modern jazz, with a wealth of dance music experience - as the band features three former members of ceilidh band Gas Mark 5.

Paul Scourfield plays melodeon, with Dave Blackmore on clarinet and bass clarinet, Michael Davidson on bass and guitar and Rob Gifford on drums.
