Pupils at Giles Nursery and Infants' School in Stevenage were delighted with a surprise visit from Children in Need's Pudsey Bear during a fundraiser for the charity.
Last week, the children took part in the Pudsey Bearpees Challenge - splitting into four teams and taking it in turns to sprint to a lit-up pod, perform a burpee and tap the pod with their foot, before racing back to their team.
Headteacher Rouane Mendel said: "The children had been practising burpees for weeks. The morning was set up as a competition and the children took part with enormous gusto.
"Lots of money was raised for Children in Need and they were speechless when Pudsey appeared."
