Festive cheer was in full spirit in Stevenage Old Town on Saturday, when the Christmas lights were officially switched on.
The crowd was entertained by choir and carol singers, before poster competition winner Millie Peacock, and runners-up Skyrah Bagaoisan and Isaac Baker, switched on the lights.
The poster competition, run by Stevenage Old Town Business and Community Partnership, tasked youngsters with depicting festive scenes, which were then judged by the chair of Stevenage Arts Society, Mary Green.
