Each provider involved with the awards submitted nominations for their staff and organisation, judged by representatives from Adult Social Care, the NHS and other organisations.
HCPA pulled out all the stops for the event, which was attended by 400 care personnel.
A host of celebrity well-wishers sent messages of thanks, including appearances from Basil Brush, Debbie McGee, Kerry Katona and The Inbetweeners actor James Buckley.
Entertainment was provided by host of dazzling circus performances from world class performers.
Operations Director for HCPA and host of the awards Wesley Strahan-Hughes said: “2023 is the first year we have felt things are returning to ‘normal’ after a very tough few years for our care sector.
"Tonight has showcased some of the most heart-warming stories, and we have been proud to share these in a public show of praise and affection for those devoted individuals who work in care.
