Stevenage's Thomas Alleyne Academy will reopen on Monday after power issues forced the school to close today.
The secondary school, in High Street, announced yesterday that it would be closed today, but in an update this afternoon, they have now confirmed students will be welcomed back next week.
"We are delighted that we are able to reopen on Monday," read a statement on their social media.
"We have had confirmation that the power outages have been caused by an overloading on the mains feed into the school.
"Electrical engineers have now rebalanced the power usage across the school to ensure we have sufficient capacity to re-open with full power.
"Thank you for your patience."
