A man has been found dead inside a property in Stevenage after police received calls regarding a concern for welfare.
Officers were called to an address in Hopton Road just after 10.50pm on Sunday, January 21, with emergency services attending the scene.
Sadly, a man was found dead inside the property, with a Herts police spokesman confirming an investigation has been launched.

"Police are currently investigating a sudden death in Stevenage," read a statement.
"Officers were called to an address on Hopton Road just after 10.50pm on Sunday, January 21, following reports of a concern for welfare.
"Emergency services attended the scene and a man was sadly found dead at the property.
"The investigation is at an early stage and a police presence will remain in the local area whilst enquiries continue at this time."
A Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: "Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was also called to this incident and our crews and fire investigation team have been assisting the police with their investigation."
