Following an incident in Morrisons in Letchworth, a man from Hitchin has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, affray, threats to kill and a racially aggravated public order offence.
Simon Dhunna, aged 44, of Seebohm Close in Hitchin, was arrested in Letchworth on Thursday last week after he reportedly threatened someone with an offensive weapon and was racially abusive.
Hertfordshire police were called shortly after 9.30am to Morrisons in Broadway, and they found the suspect in Hillbrow.
