Hitchin Priory Hotel has reopened as a hotel again, after spending the past three years as an events-only venue.

The hotel is also now open to customers for its restaurant and bar, which have been revamped and are open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

The Radcliff Bar is open daily from 12.30pm until 10pm, serving favourite drinks and classic dishes including fish and chips, steak and ale pie, sausage and mash.

Meanwhile, The Priory Restaurant is open from 6pm until 10pm daily, dishing up meals such as braised beef cheeks, poached salmon, and pumpkin and sage tortellini.

Guests can book overnight stays at the hotel too, with double rooms, twin rooms, and family rooms containing a double and a single bed all available. They cost between £135 and £145 per night for two people and include breakfast in the morning.

"As a company, we have a more exciting plan for the future to grow stronger and stronger."

Anybody wishing to dine at the bar or restaurant can receive a 15 per cent discount on food until March 4 by booking or walking in and sharing the code HPNEW99.
