Helping Herts is encouraging people to walk 12 miles for 12 Hertfordshire-based children's charities this month.
Helping Herts, the official charity for Stort Valley Rotary is running their '12 miles for 12 charities' challenge throughout February.
Participants will walk 12 miles to raise funds and awareness for twelve children's charities, including Grove Cottage, Mind Network Hertfordshire, Home Start Hertfordshire, and Herts Young Homeless.
Gordon Morrison, Founder of Helping Herts which launched in 2021, said: "This challenge is a collective effort to create positive change in the lives of children in Hertfordshire.
"Each step contributes to a meaningful difference."
Participants embark on a 12-mile journey at their own pace, taking part whenever it suits them throughout the month.
The challenge is designed to not only prioritises physical and mental wellness but emphasize the importance of helping those in need.
You can sign up on the Helping Herts website, create a fundraising page, and start planning you journey at the Helping Herts website.
Whether savoured during a brisk morning walk, a leisurely weekend amble, or even a run, every step taken is in service of the charities.
Those participating are encouraged to share their walking journey on social media platforms to inspire others and gather additional support.
