If you are ready for a night of fun, then it’s time to get your team together and join Citizens Advice North Herts (CANH) for our FUN-draising general knowledge quiz.
It’s taking place on Saturday, March 16 at St Paul’s Church Hall, Pixmore Way in Letchworth.
The quiz starts at 7.15pm, you can bring a team with up to eight people with tickets at £12 per person which includes snacks. We have a fully licensed bar, and our grand raffle.
CANH is an independent local charity with offices in Letchworth and Royston, with all proceeds raised on the night used to help us continue our work in the local community.
Our services are free, and accessed via the telephone, email, face-to-face, or online, and our help is a lifeline for many struggling people.
We go out to community locations across the whole of the North Herts and South Cambs area, including Hitchin, Baldock and Melbourn, with regular advice sessions.
Benefits, housing, and debt were the top three issues in 2023. We also hold workshops , presentations and give talks in the community and online.
Subjects covered include budgeting advice, help with the Cost-of-Living crisis, scams awareness, energy advice and debt management.
During 2023 we helped almost 6,500 people with around 14,000 different problems.
So, get your team together and see if your team will be named the champions of our fun, general knowledge quiz.
But, if you can’t join us on the night, there’s plenty of ways to help your local Citizens Advice service.
Why not help by donating a raffle prize, join our mailing list to find out more about the work we do and the impact we have in the local community or why not hold a fundraiser of your own to raise money for us.
Find out more on our website northhertscab.org.uk/fundraise.
If you’d like to join us for the quiz, you need to buy your tickets in advance.
It’s easy to book and arrange payment via bank transfer, email communications@nhdcab.org.uk or you can book online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/citizens-advice-north-hertfordshire.
We hope to see you on March 16.
