Two crashes have taken place in the space of an hour on the A1(M) this morning, near Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage.
Both incidents occurred prior to 7.18am today (Wednesday, February 14), with one near junction 6 for Welwyn and the other close to junction 7 for Stevenage.
Firstly, police were called to the scene of a crash involving a black Vauxhall Insignia and a blue Volvo V60 collided near Stevenage at 6.41am.
Officers attended the scene, and no serious injuries were sustained.
Secondly, a black Toyota Yaris and a white Audi TT crashed near Welwyn Garden City, prior to 7.18am.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, where no serious injuries had occurred.
Recovery was also arranged for the Toyota Yaris.
