An osteopath clinic could be opening in Stevenage High Street, if the building's change of use is approved by the local authority.
The owner of the building that was once home to Flair Fashions has applied to Stevenage Borough Council for a Certificate of Lawfulness to change the use of the building from retail to medical or health services.
He said there will be no change to the shopfront, or any other external alterations, as part of the plans to open an osteopath clinic.
Flair Fashions, which first opened its doors in 1960, permanently closed in April last year, due to the owners' retirement.
