A toddler found wandering alone in his pyjamas in Stevenage has been returned to his parents, police have confirmed.
The boy, believed to be around two or three years old, was found by police officers in Fairlands Way just before 3pm yesterday (March 11).
Described as Asian, he was wearing a red Mario Kart pyjama top, blue Minion’s pyjama bottoms and white Crocs. He also had a bicycle with him.
More than two hours after police officers found him, the boy's parents had still not been found, so a police appeal was issued just after 5pm.
Around an hour later, police confirmed that the boy's parents had been traced.
This morning, police have confirmed that the boy has been reunited with his parents.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "The boy was returned to his parents last night. Officers conducted all the relevant due diligence and words of advice were given to his parents."
