A golf business in Letchworth has gone up for sale with the current owners planning to retire.

Par 3 Letchworth in Willian Way is listed on the market by Satchells for £425,000, which includes the clubhouse, bar, café, and nine-hole course set in seven acres of land.

The business has been listed for sale after the current owners decided to retire following 10 years of ownership.

"Nestled on the edge of Letchworth and originally part of the Spirella Recreation Ground in the 1920s, it has offered golf since the 1970s with well kept greens and fairways, and now mature trees adding exciting challenges to your round of golf," reads the listing.

"The clubhouse is also suited for hosting functions such as corporate meetings, wedding receptions and parties indoors and out.

"Above the clubhouse is a four-bedroom apartment comprising a lounge diner, fitted kitchen, bathroom and store room along with a covered outside balcony overlooking the fairways and grounds."

Assets including the name, membership, and stock at valuation are for sale, and the premises is on a lease with the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.
