Want to get back to work after a time away, whether due to redundancy, illness, or a change of circumstances? Or perhaps you want to go for your first work opportunity?

The new Moving Forwards Together consortium is a group of three North Herts charities that want to help you tackle the issues that perhaps have held you back from taking advantage of workplace opportunities.

Moving Forwards Together links Citizens Advice North Herts, North Herts CVS, and Create Communities together, to give you what you need to succeed to help you secure a job. You can now give yourself the best chance with a free package of support – personalised to your needs.

How can Moving Forwards Together help you? First, North Herts CVS can help you find a great volunteer role that suits you, as it works with lots of local charities in North Herts, to get the essential experience you need to kick-start your move to a paid role.

Gaining new skills and training – such as digital skills, getting work experience, and building your confidence, are all important, but so are solving your wider problems, from sorting out money matters, housing, or benefits that may be available.

Citizens Advice North Herts will work with you to find out how to ease other issues, from money worries to benefits, so you can focus on your employment goals.

And get advice and support when you need it, Create Community, based in Letchworth, provides your drop-in support hub, just pop in and chat when you need to.

Ready to join us? Contact any of the three charities to start today, pop in and see us, call us, or email us.

If you are currently out of work or have been out of the workplace for a while and would like to explore what we can do, we’d be delighted to chat with you about this new, free support scheme.
