Herts police are investigating after swastika graffiti was found in Baldock.
The offensive symbol has appeared in several areas around the park area on Clothall Road, and at the Bush Spring playground.
Police officers are now working with the local authority to ensure that it is removed.
Sergeant Chris Adshead, of the North Herts Community Safety Unit, said: “We take incidents like this seriously, and due to the offensive nature of this graffiti we are working to get it quickly removed.

“This kind of behaviour has no place anywhere, if you have any information which could help with our enquiries please contact 101.”
