A motorcyclist has been injured after a collision involving a car in Hitchin this morning.
Police were called at 10.34am today (March 26), following reports of a collision involving a black Kawasaki motorbike and a white Kia Sorento in Walsworth Road.
Officers attended alongside the ambulance service, with the motorcyclist sustaining minor injuries.

The road remains open, but there are delays on both Walsworth Road and Nightingale Road this afternoon, with Herts police advising motorist to avoid the area.
A police spokesperson also confirmed that officers left the scene by 11.45am, but "the ambulance service were still there with the motorcyclist at that point".
We will provide an update on the condition of the motorcyclist when we get it.
