A property developer gifted £200 and Easter eggs to a childcare agency in Hitchin.
The donation from Taylor Wimpey North Thames to Oughton Family Centre, aimed at benefiting the community near its upcoming Weston Gate development, will support the centre's mission to assist children and families in the Hitchin area.
The family centre is run by the charity Barnardo and is one of three in Hitchin offering targeted development and parenting to children aged 0 until 11 years.
Sarah Rutherford, team manager for Barnardo's North Herts Family Support Services, said: "We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation.
"We know that a lot of families in the local area are being affected by the cost-of-living crisis and other financial pressures.
"For some families, an Easter egg is seen as a luxury, and while it may seem small to others, a gift like this means so much to a child."
Jason Turner, sales manager at Taylor Wimpey North Thames said: "It’s important that struggling families have somewhere to turn to when they are in need of support."
