A social media star is set to star at a free community golf open day in Stevenage this weekend.

Mia Baker, who has more than 260,000 followers on Instagram and 50,000 on TikTok, has become an internet sensation for her exceptional golfing prowess and engaging content, captivating audiences with her visits to various courses and informative tutorials.

She recently competed in the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am, alongside stars including Gareth Bale and Hollywood actor Tom Holland.

On Saturday, April 20, she'll be heading to Stevenage Golf and Conference Centre to offer her top tips and tricks to attendees, as well as being available for photos and questions in an exclusive Q&A session.

Running from 10am until 1pm, the open day will welcome people of all skill levels and will offer an array of activities, including a hole-in-one challenge with a prize of £2,500, a ten-hole open competition, a bullseye contest and complimentary group lessons.

A free, ladies-only group lesson will begin at 10am, led by Mia and local pro Matt Bannister.

Stevenage Golf Centre is managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council, and the free open day is being held to celebrate this month's launch of Everyone Golf, Everyone Active’s new brand.
