A vehicle has been seized by police in Hitchin after its driver failed to give way to an unmarked police car.
Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit stopped the vehicle after the incident.
They found that the driver only held a provisional licence, and reported them for driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence. Officers also seized the vehicle.
Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence can lead to between three and six penalty points, and a fine from £100 up to £1,000. Prosecutors can also impose a disqualification.
