Ahead of the bank holiday weekend, Stevenage Borough Council has announced changes to bin collection schedules.
With staff not working on bank holiday Monday (May, 27), collections next week will be one day late, with normal service resuming on Monday, June 3.
It means that the amended schedule is as follows - the former date is the ordinary day for collections, the latter is the revised date for next week:
- Monday, May 27 to Tuesday, May 28
- Tuesday, May 28 to Wednesday, May 29
- Wednesday, May 29 to Thursday, May 30
- Thursday, May 30 to Friday, May 31
- Friday, May 31 to Saturday, June 1
The council have reminded residents that bins should be put out by 7am on the day of collection.
