A planning application has been submitted to turn Letchworth's former HSBC branch into flats and retail units.
The plans, submitted by Vishal Luthra, would see the ground floor of the Station Place building be retained as a retail space, while two flats would be built on the first floor.
"This application seeks permission for the change of use of the first floor accommodation to provide one two-bedroom flat and one one-bedroom flat," the application reads.
"The existing first floor plan was previously used as the bank offices, and is to be converted via very limited alterations and accessed by existing concrete stairs onto front elevation.
"There will be no changes to the ground floor plan, which will be retained as a commercial unit."
