A paedophile from Letchworth has been found guilty of two sex offences involving a child.
Gavin Elley appeared at Harrow Crown Court for a four-day trial last week, having been arrested in 2022 while waiting to meet up with a 13-year-old girl in the car park at Cockfosters tube station.
He has been found guilty on two counts - engaging in sexual communication with a child, and attempting to arrange / facilitate commission of a child sex offence.
He is due to be sentenced on August 16.
