A Langford school has been given a good Ofsted rating following a two-day inspection in April.

Langford Village Academy was praised for its pupil's positive behaviour, established routines and a focus on wellbeing in the Ofsted report..

Principal Debbie Randall said: "I am pleased with our report and recognition of our successful journey to become a primary school."

She thanked parents for their support, added that she is very proud of the learners, and praised staff who "go the extra mile to ensure our children get the best education possible."

The Bedfordshire Schools Trust has also been acknowledged for its support.

BEST CEO Dr Alan Lee said: "I am delighted with this report.

"It clearly underscores the great improvements made at Langford Village Academy.

"Particularly pleasing is the emphasis placed on the wellbeing of all at the school."
