Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Ickleford.
The men, both aged in their 20s, were in a grey Volkswagen Golf in St Katherine's Close when they were stopped by police officers shortly before 7pm on Thursday (July 11).
Officers searched the vehicles, finding suspected class A drugs and an imitation firearm.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and carrying an imitation firearm in a public place.
Detective Sergeant Sam Casey, from the North Herts Local Crime Unit, said: “While two men have been arrested in relation to this incident we are continuing to investigate.

“As part of that I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity of St Katherine’s Close yesterday evening and saw the VW Golf or any suspicious behaviour.
