The grand opening of an inflatable water park in Stevenage on Saturday had a greater-than-expected turnout, according to owner Aqua Parcs.

Located on the sailing lake in Fairlands Valley Park, the inflatable has a variety of obstacles, slides and challenges.

Kieron Murty, joint owner of Aqua Parcs, said: "We are delighted with the successful opening of Aqua Parcs in Stevenage.

"This state-of-the-art water park is a testament to our commitment to bringing family-friendly entertainment and outdoor adventure to the community.

"We look forward to welcoming guests of all ages to experience the fun and excitement that Aqua Parcs has to offer."

All sessions are supervised by trained lifeguards, and all participants are provided with buoyancy aids.

Tickets for a 50-minute session are £22 per person, or £79.20 for a family ticket (two adults and two children, or one adult and three children).
