Hertfordshire police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike rider lost control of his vehicle and had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police officers do not currently know what caused the rider, aged in his 20s, to lose control while driving his black Suzuki motorbike around 2.40pm last Sunday (July 21) on Conduit Lane.
He was riding towards Great Hormead when he lost control and ended up in a nearby field.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said that the rider has "serious injuries".
Sergeant Matthew O’Neill, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for any witnesses to please get in touch.

“The motorbike rider remains in hospital and is being treated for serious injuries. If you saw what happened, or have any dash cam footage that may help our investigation, please email me at Matthew.O’Neill@herts.police.uk.”
