Ahead of the bank holiday weekend, North Herts Council has announced changes to bin collection schedules.
With staff not working on bank holiday Monday, August 26, collections next week will be one day late, with normal service resuming on Monday, September 2.
It means that the amended schedule is as follows – the former date is the ordinary day for collections, the latter is the revised date for next week:
- Monday, August 26 to Tuesday, August 27
- Tuesday, August 27 to Wednesday, August 28
- Wednesday, August 28 to Thursday, August 29
- Thursday, August 29 to Friday August, 30
- Friday, August 30th to Saturday August, 31
The council have reminded residents that bins should be put out by 7am on the day of collection.
