Stevenage will have one and probably two of their missing stars back for the big League Two promotion battle at Carlisle United.

Luther James-Wildin played a little more than eight minutes in Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra as his return from a hip injury came to a close with a substitute appearance.

And manager Steve Evans hopes to have fellow defender Terence Vancooten available as well, at least for a place on the bench.

The Boro boss said: "Luther is back, he’s training properly with the group, and Terence Vancooten will train full with the group so that's a major plus for us.

"Dean Campbell will train but it'll be more tentative rather than full. He blocked a shot in training and just turned his ankle a little bit.

"He’s probably three to four days away from being back to 100 per cent.

"There's been games in the last week or two where Dean Campbell would have found a place in the team.

"But when they're injured, they're injured and that was my conversation with Terrance this morning."
