Stevenage will need to sign some players for their return to League One after announcing their released and retained list.

Luke Norris had already taken to Instagram to reveal he would be leaving his hometown club after two-and-a-half seasons.

The four joining Norris in having been released are Adam Przybek, Michael Bostwick, Max Clark and Jake Taylor.

They could be joined by anywhere up to another five with Terence Vancooten, Luther James-Wildin, Jake Reeves, Jake Forster-Caskey, Josh March all "discussing terms on another season".

Just seven are remaining as they are still under contract with strike force Jordan Roberts, Danny Rose, Jamie Reid and Elliott List four of them.

Also staying, unless the club receive an offer they can't refuse, is skipper and player of the season Carl Piergianni.

Fellow defenders Kane Smith and Dan Sweeney complete the list.

 

All loan players have now returned to their parent clubs although one of them, Alex Gilbey, is now a free agent having been released by Charlton Athletic.

Four youngsters will head out of the Lamex too.

Alfie Williams, Jack Smith, Mackye Townsend-West and Sam Tinubu the ones released but three junior pros have been retained.

They include Theo Alexandrou and Rylee Mitchell who signed deals prior to an appearance as an unused substitute at Barrow.

The third junior is Harrison Smith.

Makise Evans is not on the list as he is too young to have signed a professional contract. He will move up to being a second-year scholar until his 17th birthday.
