DEREK WOOLFE Alroy Sheet Metals would like to thank Derek Woolf, better known as Digger, who will have completed 50 years of service with the company on 17th August 2014. Digger began his employment with Alroys, when he was just sixteen, back in 1964. He started working in our Duct Shop, where he developed his skills as a sheet metal worker and has contributed with projects across the UK, working at Blackfriars Bridge, the North Sea Oil Rigs and more locally SKF Luton and the old Bowaters Estate to name just a few. One of Diggers favourite achievements, is the large road signs that cover the underpass along Gunnels Wood Road, where he can view his handiwork travelling to and from work every day. Digger continues to enjoy site work, where over his working career he has built up fantastic relationships with our customers, offering them solutions to problems, with a service that has earned him respect with both customers and work mates alike. Thanks again for your services over the past five decades, we have really appreciated it.
