Stevenage Ladies' Choir is set to host an open evening for anyone interested in joining the group.
After making a cautious return to face-to-face rehearsals in late 2021, 2022 saw the ladies build up to their first concerts since the lockdowns.
Choir chairman Tracey De Vere White said: “Stevenage Ladies Choir has been my extended family for over 43 years. They’ve buoyed me up when I’ve been down and supported me with music, friendship and song for as long as I can remember.”
During the evening, everyone will start a new piece of music together so potential new singers can get a feel for how the choir learns music – and don’t worry, you don’t need to be able to read music either, as everything is taught as listen and repeat.
The open evening takes place on Thursday, January 26 at 8pm, at St Nicholas School.
