A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash in Baldock earlier today (Thursday, July 13).
Herts police were called at around 9.12am to reports of a white van and a Honda motorbike colliding in the High Street, near Simpson Drive.
Police officers attended the scene, along with the fire service and three vehicles from the East of England Ambulance Service - an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, and an ambulance officer vehicle.

The man on the motorcycle suffered injuries that have been described as "slight" by a police spokesperson.
He has been taken to Lister Hospital "for further assessment and care".
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said that fire engines from Letchworth & Baldock and Hitchin fire stations were sent to the scene.
Nobody was trapped, and firefighters assisted the ambulance service with carrying out "scene safety and trauma care".
Road closures were put in place by police, before being lifted at around 10.10am. The two vehicles involved have been recovered.
