Hitchin's former Poundland unit is set to host a pop-up art gallery next month.
A "see you soon" poster appeared in the window of the High Street unit last week, causing plenty of intruige among residents.
The flyer was there to tease a pop-up art exhibition called The Shooting Gallery, which has been organised by artists Phil Bruce, Josh Levitas and Ryan Moore, and will run for 11 days from September 14.
"We are super excited to be putting this on," said Phil.

"We have done smaller shows before in different spaces but this will be by far the biggest we've put together, and we're so grateful of all the help and support the local community has offered us so far.
"It's been a long journey to get to this point and put something on for our fellow artists.
"We're trying to put on a pop up exhibition that will include all local artists of varying levels of ability to give everyone a chance at getting their work out there and to show people the talent of everyday "outsider" artists."
Phil also confirmed that there are hopes to extend the beyond the intial 11 days, as the group looks forward to welcoming people to The Shooting Gallery.
