Two people have been arrested after a wallet that contained a diamond and sapphire ring was stolen in Stevenage.
On Friday (October 20), the items were taken from a vehicle in Lodge Way overnight.
Some of the stolen property has been recovered, however, the ring - which has "huge sentimental significance for the owner" - has not been found.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Do you recognise this ring? Have you seen it offered for sale?
"It is a distinctive handmade diamond and sapphire ring.
"If you have any information regarding this stolen ring please report information by filling out our online reporting form.
"Please remember to always remove any valuables from your vehicle when you leave it and always make sure that your vehicle is locked when unattended."
