A man was injured after a fight broke out outside Asda in Hitchin on Saturday, December 16.
One of the people involved was reportedly holding a circular saw.
The incident occurred on Queen Street, near Asda, at around 6pm, and involved a group of males.
One man sustained a black eye and a cut to his eyebrow, and a 52-year-old man from Hitchin was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Herts police are now appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the incident or may have information to come forward.
PC Kimberley Slessor, investigating, said: “I am continuing to appeal to the public for any information they have following this incident.
