A man has been arrested by police in connection with a knifepoint robbery in Stevenage.
Just before 6.50am on Thursday, December 14, a member of staff at McColl's newsagents in Bedwell Crescent was allegedly threatened into handing over cash.
The Stevenage Local Crime Unit launched an investigation, and arrested a 44-year old man on Thursday, December 21, in connection with the incident.
He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Darren Lomax, from the Unit, said: “Although an arrest has now been made our enquiries are ongoing, and I am continuing to appeal for anyone with information to please get in touch.

“If you live nearby and have CCTV or a doorbell camera fitted, please check any footage recorded just before or after the incident, to see if it has captured a male going past.
“If you have any other information at all, please get in touch.”
