A vehicle has been seized after it led police on a chase in Letchworth this week.
Officers from the Letchworth Safer Neighbourhood Team at Hertfordshire Constabulary were on routine patrol when they spotted a driver behaving erratically.
They asked the driver to stop, but he failed to do so. According to a statement posted on social media by North Herts Police, a "pursuit" then took place, after which the vehicle was seized.
The statement continued: "Enquiries are now in hand and prosecutions will be sought where appropriate."
It is against the law to fail to stop when requested to do so by a police officer.
