Hertfordshire police are investigating a burglary and an attempted burglary in Stevenage.
In one incident, a Scott Aspect bicycle was reportedly stolen in January while it was locked up in a garden shed at a property on Priestley Road in Chells. The incident was reported to police on Saturday, January 13 and is believed to have taken place between January 10 and the day on which it was reported.
In a second incident, a Silam Road resident returned from holiday on January 14 to find that their storage cupboard - in a communal area of a property - had been broken into, although it appeared that nothing had been taken.
The incident is believed to have occurred at some point between December 30, 2023, and January 14.
