Road closures are among the key public notices in Stevenage and North Hertfordshire that are set to affect residents.

1. Closure of road near Holy Trinity Church in Stevenage
Hertfordshire County Council has made an order temporarily banning traffic from the road on the north side of Holy Trinity Church in Stevenage.
Traffic will be banned from a 74m section of the road, from the junction with Letchmore Road to the junction with High Street.
An alternative route will be available via Letchmore Road, Sish Lane, Trinity Road and High Street.
The closure is to enable works to be carried out.
The order will come into force on March 11 for a period of up to 18 months, though the road will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly.
Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the road.
2. Closure of road near Wymondley Road in Hitchin
Hertfordshire County Council has made an order temporarily banning traffic from the service road in front of 117-143 Wymondley Road in Hitchin.
Traffic will be banned from a 238m section of the road, eastwards from the junction with Halsey Drive.
An alternative route will be available via Halsey Drive, Wymondley Road and Halsey Drive.
The closure is to enable works to be carried out.
The order will come into force on March 11 for a period of up to 18 months, though the road will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly.
Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the road.
3. Closure of Priory Lane in Little Wymondley
Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an order temporarily banning traffic from Priory Lane in Little Wymondley.
Traffic will be banned from a 432m section of the road, southwards from the junction with Graveley Road.
The closure is to enable tree maintenance works to be carried out.
The order would come into force on March 25 for a period of up to 18 months, though the road would only be closed at specific times rather than constantly.
Closure times would be specified on signs on or near the road.
4. Closure of Bawdsey Close in Stevenage
Hertfordshire County Council has made an order temporarily banning traffic from Bawdsey Close in Stevenage.
Traffic will be banned from the entire length of the road, and no alternative route will be available.

5. Closure of Kingsland Way in Ashwell
Hertfordshire County Council has made an order temporarily banning traffic from Kingsland Way in Ashwell
Traffic will be banned from a 158m section of the road, between the junction with Ashwell Street and the junction with Silver Street.
An alternative route will be avaialble via Ashwell Street, Claybush Road, Ashwell Road, Bygrave Road, A507 (North Road/Great North Road), Newnham Road, Ashwell Road, Newnham Way, West End, High Street and Kingsland Way.
The closure is to enable the replacement of existing utility poles.
The order will come into force on March 12 for a period of up to 18 months, though the road will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly.
