Hitchin Thespians are presenting a musical tribute to the changing of the seasons with a choral concert.
'Spring into Summer' will take place at Woodside Hall, Hitchin at 3pm on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14.
The concert aims to combine the best of choral music, the magic of the spoken word and the feeling of new life that is brought by the spring.
There will be music and spoken word performances from a wide range of eras, from madrigals to modern songs on the themes of spring and summer.
Music will include part of Orff's dramatic 'Carmina Burana', as well as pieces by Gershwin, Elgar, John Rutter, Sting and several other composers.
The concert will be directed by Hitchin-based maestro John Edwards.
