Road closures are among the key public notices in Stevenage and North Hertfordshire that are set to affect residents.

1. Fishers Green in Stevenage
Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an order temporarily banning traffic from Fishers Green in Stevenage, between its junction with Perranporth Lane and its junction with Kessingland Avenue.
The closure is to enable resurfacing works to be carried out, and an alternative route will be available via Fishers Green, Stevenage Road, Blakemore End Road, Stevenage Road, A602, Julian Road, Fishers Green Road and Fishers Green.
The order would come into force on April 29 for a period of up to 18 months, though the roads will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly. Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the roads.
2. Eldefield in Letchworth
Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an order temporarily banning traffic from Eldefield in Letchworth, between its junction with Wilbury Hills Road and its junction with Bursland.
The closure is to enable works to be carried out, and an alternative route will be available via Wilbury Hills Road, Icknield Way and Bursland.
The order would come into force on April 29 for a period of up to 18 months, though the roads will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly. Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the roads.
3. Chilvers Bank in Baldock
Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an order temporarily banning traffic from Chilvers Bank in Baldock, between its junction with Weston Way and its junction with St Marys Way.
The closure is to enable works to be carried out, and no alternative route will be available.
The order would come into force on May 1 for a period of up to 18 months, though the roads will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly. Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the roads.
4. Torquay Crescent in Stevenage
Hertfordshire County Council has made an order temporarily banning traffic from Torquay Crescent in Stevenage, from its junction with Bridge Road West north westwards for a distance of 106m.
The closure is to enable works to be carried out, and an alternative route will be available via Bridge Road West, Fairview Road and Torquay Crescent.
The order will come into force on April 15 for a period of up to 18 months, though the roads will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly. Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the roads.
5. Old Knebworth Lane in Stevenage and Knebworth
Hertfordshire County Council has made an order temporarily banning traffic from Old Knebworth Lane in Stevenage and Knebworth, from its junction with London Road south westwards for a distance of 195m.
The closure is to enable utility service works to be carried out, and an alternative route will be available via B197, B656, Bury Lane, Nup End, Park Lane and Old Knebworth Lane.
The order will come into force on April 15 for a period of up to 18 months, though the roads will only be closed at specific times rather than constantly. Closure times will be specified on signs on or near the roads.
