A quick-thinking photography student has captured a stunning close-up photo of a wild fox in his back garden.
16-year-old Rafferty Carter-Lazenbury, who is studying A-level photography at St Christopher School in Letchworth, snapped the picture at his home in Tewin.
"We were returning home after a dog walk and as I opened the side gate to the garden my dog leapt into the borders and a young fox jumped out from a bush," said his father, Julian Carter.
"The fox then ran across the driveway and hid under one of the laurel hedges.
"I called my son who is studying photography and he grabbed his camera and took this incredible picture. The fox then went on his way."
